A new laboratory was opened at the Institute of Physics, Technology and Information Systems (IFTIS) as part of an agreement on scientific and methodological cooperation between the GalSen Group and the Moscow State Pedagogical University, one of the oldest universities in Russia with a 145-year history specializing in educating of schoolteachers, college and university tutors.
The park of educational equipment of the Institute now includes the unique developments of the GalSen Group presented at the opening ceremovy to the management of the educational institution, students and teachers.
At the inauguration of the new training lab, GalSen director of marketing, Konstantin Galishnikov, expressed confidence in the successful continuation of the strategic partnership with MPGU in hands-on testing of GalSen kits in the educational process and their further upgrade, as well as on developing new curricula based on them with the assistance of specialists and students of the university. The work of the new laboratory equipment was thoroughly demonstrated by the service engineer department head Alexey Chetvergov.
IFTIS trains researchers, innovative high-tech enterprises' employees, engineers and teachers in the areas of “Physics”, “Pedagogical Education”, “Information Technologies and Innovatica”.
The Institute has more than 500 undergraduate and graduate students, 108 teachers, including 37 professors, 40 doctors of science, including those invited from abroad.
A distinctive feature of the Institute is individualized training, as well as a combination of the classical traditions of the university with a half-century history and modern educational technologies.
